What is a dofollow link?
A dofollow link is a standard HTML link that does not contain a nofollow attribute. In other words, a dofollow link is a link that search engines assign value to and regard as a recommendation.
A dofollow link looks like this:
<a href="https://www.google.dk/">Google</a>
Whereas the opposite, a so-called nofollow link that search engines will not assign much value to, looks like this:
<a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.google.dk/">Google</a>
When doing link building for your website, you should, to the extent possible, ensure that the links you receive from strong and authoritative domains are dofollow links.
However, it is also important that your link profile includes a certain amount of nofollow links, as this helps make your link profile appear natural.
