Lead ad

What are lead ads?

Simply put, a lead ad is an advertisement on e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or similar, which contains a form that the recipient must fill out. A lead ad thus allows the advertiser to collect information about their potential customers directly within an ad, and thereby collect "leads".

Should you use lead ads in your marketing?

A lead ad is not relevant for everyone or for all types of advertisements, but it is relevant when a company wishes to collect leads for its business. This can typically be done by offering some form of lead magnet or similar, which the recipient provides their details to receive.
Below you will find some typical lead ads that may inspire you as to whether you should use lead ads in your marketing:

  • Download a lead magnet (e.g. e-book, whitepaper, tool or similar)
  • Get a call back from your company
  • Receive an offer by signing up and filling in your information
  • Book a meeting
