1 year of great development: Magnus Elmström rounds off his first year in the Paid Social team

On 28 April, it was exactly one year since Elmstrøm became a permanent part of our Paid Social team in the role of Paid Social Associate.

The past year has brought impressive development for Elmstrøm, who has rapidly embraced the latest industry trends and translated them into strong results for our clients. In a digital reality where platforms like Meta constantly change the rules of the game, Elmstrøm ensures every day that our clients' advertising spend is converted into maximum performance.

On the occasion of his 1-year anniversary, we sat down with Elmstrøm to talk about the culture, his development, and the most important trends in the market right now.

Elmstrøm's top advice: Meta Andromeda is pushing the boundaries

A tremendous amount is happening within Paid Social right now, with the integration of new algorithms truly pushing the boundaries of advertising.

What is the most exciting thing you have your eye on right now?

"It has to be Meta Andromeda and the way it's changing our professional game. In short, Meta advertising has been transformed into a hyper-personalised sorting machine, and that has caused the algorithm to now match content and users at a pace we've never seen before. It forces us to rethink our setups so we give the machine freedom while still maintaining control over the results!"

What is your single best piece of advice for businesses looking to improve performance for the rest of 2026?

"The most important thing is to build a technical setup that supports Meta Andromeda at full scale. Today, the rule applies: 'Creative is the new targeting'. Since the machine handles virtually all manual audience segmentation, you now have the opportunity to reach vastly different segments based solely on the content you feed it. Forget almost everything about manual targeting and focus instead on creative variations!"
