Ahead of the Designa campaign "Win a kitchen", we chose to fundamentally rethink the brand's creative strategy on social media with an absolute focus on Meta Ads. The goal was to create a massive digital stop-effect in users' feeds, increase brand awareness, and drive measurably more potential customers towards Designa's digital universe and physical showrooms in both Denmark and Norway.

Our creative team charted an entirely new course for the content, with the focus on a significantly increased share of video in the overall ad mix, as well as larger, more professional productions. How video increases relevance in Meta's algorithm: When videos with exceptionally high production value are deployed, an immediate stop-effect is achieved in the organic feed. The increased user engagement sent strong relevance signals directly into Meta's auction models, resulting in a significant 22% drop in the cost per video view. By holding users' attention for longer, the platform rewarded the ad account with cheaper and more effective impressions. This demonstrates in practice how targeted video can improve reach (which increased by 32%) and significantly boost brand awareness, without requiring an increased budget.

From attention to explosive click behaviour: The video effort was not deployed as an isolated branding exercise, but as a strategic engine at the top of the conversion funnel. By building a massive pool of warm audiences through video views, Meta could subsequently nurture interest with tactical, conversion-focused formats. This creative synergy pushed the click-through rate (CTR) up by 43% on Meta, culminating in a complete explosion in qualified traffic to Designa's website of no less than 1,095%.

The full potential: Expanding to YouTube Ads

Although the visual video setup has delivered outstanding results on Meta, the digital potential doesn't stop there. To achieve a complete omnichannel synergy and reach the target audience across their entire digital journey, we also integrated the video-based campaign concept on YouTube Ads.

By leveraging YouTube's massive reach and precise segmentation (including Demand Gen and In-Stream formats), we managed to lift the average click-through rate (CTR) on YouTube by +29%. This cements the value of letting well-crafted video content serve as the primary growth engine across multiple major platforms simultaneously.
