Objective
Organic Basics' goal with our collaboration was to achieve significant revenue growth through effective use of PPC advertising. They aimed for a marked improvement in ROAS to ensure profitability. The company also wanted to expand their market presence from 5 to 10 markets. Furthermore, their objective was to substantially increase revenue from Google Ads in order to strengthen overall performance and market position.
Strategy
To achieve the goal of improving ROAS, we conducted a thorough demand analysis of Organic Basics' existing markets. The analysis revealed that the target audience across borders shares an interest in products that are organic, sustainable, and CO2-friendly. Armed with this insight, we ensured that their ads clearly communicate these values. With the target audience's consistent interests in mind, we accelerated the expansion into new markets, and by the end of Q2 2023 we had successfully launched active campaigns in 20 countries.

What we do
Based on the demand analysis, we identified relevant keywords and integrated them with organic sales data from Shopify across 5 of the client's main accounts. After running a test period with strong results, we chose to implement the same approach across 15 additional accounts. This approach resulted in a significant increase in conversion rate from 1% to 3.1%. The process delivered key insights for launching 75 new campaigns, which became Organic Basics' new growth engine.

Conclusion
Expanding into new markets is never without challenges. The high demand for products following the expansion led to inventory challenges along the way, which unfortunately placed a limitation on growth. Despite this, our collaboration with Organic Basics since 2023 has delivered results that have exceeded their expectations. We have expanded to 15 countries instead of 10. We have increased ROAS to 6.09 and doubled revenue from PPC. But there is potential for much more.
