What is a byline?
A byline is a place on a piece of text where the writer, photographer and any illustrator's name and possibly other information is indicated. A byline can, for example, be found on a journalistic work such as an article, blog post, guide or similar.
Byline in English
"By" means "By" and "line" means "Line". A byline can therefore be translated as: By line. That is, a line stating who a work is by.

A byline can look many different ways depending on:
- What information you want to include
- Where the byline should appear
- What type of publication it relates to
- What theme and/or brand the byline should reflect
